My name is Hannah. I’m a writer, producer, and thinker originally from Toronto.
On a late summer evening in 2016 I listened to my heart. I decided to work towards moving to Berlin in 2017. Many things drew me to the city. Its reinvention of identity since the war – a once ravaged city now booming with inclusive communities and new ideas – and of course, its social environment populated by a wealth of creatives and thinkers.
Eight months later I arrived.
Which brings us here, to this page. This is my space to dream and share. It will hold poetic, philosophical, and candid reflections on my experiences of finding and losing myself in this magnificent city. From confrontations with Berlin’s haunted past to nights filled with starlight by the Spree.
I hope these writings will inspire, stir, and move you.
